M Electrical is an electrical contracting firm specialising in high-quality work
for customers in the domestic, commercial and industrial sectors. We are a
privately owned, family-run business based in Ferndown, and most of our work is
within a short drive of it — Bournemouth, Poole, Wimborne, West Moors and West
Parley — although we take on larger contracts nationally.
In more than three decades we have completed over 1,400 installations. We are
approved contractors with the NICEIC, our engineers are CRB checked, and every
job we take on is designed, installed and certificated to comply with BS 7671.
Because we hold NICEIC Approved Contractor and Part-P Domestic Installer status
we certify our own work and notify building control for you, so there is no
third-party inspection for you to arrange or pay for.

Bournemouth is where most of our work is, and it has been that way for over thirty years. From Victorian conversions around Winton and Charminster to the newer estates at Talbot Village and the flats along the seafront, we know the sort of wiring we are likely to find before we lift a floorboard — which is why we can usually price a job accurately on the first visit.
We are based a short drive north in Ferndown, so the towns and villages either side of the A31 are part of our normal week too. Wimborne brings us a steady run of period-property rewires, West Moors and West Parley a mix of bungalow upgrades and consumer unit replacements, and Poole and Christchurch make up much of the rest. We take on larger contracts nationally as well.
